Touch and GO!

It’s been on and off with Xander today. This morning he was being very good and even helping me straighten up the living room. We did a couple crafts and played for a bit. As soon as I got to cleaning the kitchen and he got bored all hell broke loose. Sigh … I hate his attitude! Finally, hubby came home and could fix the movie Xander’s been wanting to watch (because I couldn’t get it working so that brought on a whole ‘nother tirade) and now he’s drinking some chocolate milk watching some dino movie.

We’re out of milk now. So, maybe I can go on a “late night” Wal Mart run. I love those because I can get AWAY! lol … Sad, isn’t it? I also have to pick up some stuff for crockpot sweet BBQ hot dogs that I decided to bring to a pot luck tomorrow.

Here is the recipe:
Crock Pot Weenies

1/2C. firmly packed brown sugar
2tsp. soy sauce
1C. ketchup
1tsp. of Dijon mustard (half the time I just use 1 tsp. of dried mustard)
1C. water
1-2 clove(s) garlic, minced
1 large pack of Little Smokies

Put ketchup, brown sugar, water, soy sauce, mustard and garlic in crock & cook on High around 4 hours then add franks and cook another 2 hours. If you cook it on low you can set the sauce the night before and let it cook all night and then throw the franks in and let them cook a couple hours before the party.

Note. Some people like the franks just warmed up, but I like them a little soggy! :)

On another note, I’ve been working on a new splash page for the main starryskye.org – I will upload it in a little bit :) I’m not great at working with roll-over images, so this will be a first for me! And I call myself a designer … ha! ;)

  2. Try this one sometime: 1 bottle bbq sauce and one jar (12 oz) grape jelly. Mix together and add the wienies…YUM!!!!
