Euro Music Freaks LOVE Spotify

Spotify is the largest and fastest growing music service of its kind, has only been available in Europe – but NOW it’s finally available in the US. Spotify is an awesome way to manage your music, discover new music and share songs and playlists with your friends.

Spotify was launched in Sweden in 2008 out of a desire to develop a better, more convenient and legal alternative to music piracy. Spotify is now the second single largest source of digital music revenue for labels in Europe (IFPI, April 2011), making sure that artists get a fair deal.

There are three types of Spotify memberships: Free (yes FREE!), Unlimited and Premium. The free account allows you to enjoy on-demand, buffer-free access to over 15 million songs on your computer. You can also manage your own music files through Spotify, and sync with your cellphone or iPod. But – the free account features occasional advertising.

The Unlimited account is $4.99 per month and offers the same awesomeness as the free account but with no commercials! Then – the Premium account – which is $9.99 per month — gives you access to all the music, all the time. Listen online or offline, on your computer, your cellphone as well as other devices. Premium also gives you enhanced sound quality and access to exclusive content, competitions and special offers.

I received a Beta invite because I’m a member of a website called Klout – if you want to try out Spotify why not sign up for Klout (for free) and see if you get an invite to Spotify too!
