Today was the command Easter Egg Hunt & Picnic! We actually had a lot of fun contrary to rumors that it would be crazy there. I have to remember not to listen to rumors next time. There was a ton of food, face painting, pony rides, sack races, egg hunts and the Easter Bunny! Alan, Xander and I ate tons of food and then Xander and I walked over to the face paint table to have his face done up. We had Miss Jen (someone who works at the command that we know) do Xander’s face like a bunny! We then played on the playground, visited with the bunny himself and rode a pony! Yes, I was SO proud of my little cowboy! He did a great job!
Tonight is our friends b’day party! I’ve gotta get to the store … I just finished up her gift (I made wine charms) so one thing is done. The shirt I want to wear is MIA and my contacts were killing my head – so I’m back in glasses right now.
I should get Xander an engraved plaques with “Cool Cowpoke” or something!

How fun! The hubby’s commands have never had anything fun to do on holidays. We’ll head to Hunt Club Farm next weekend though for some egg hunting and bunny petting. heh
