I’m pregnant, nauseous, busy, tired, stressed out and spinning WAY too many plates. Not to mention I’ve got seriously nothing to blog about other than how nauseous, busy, tired and stressed out I am. Plus – hubby is always saying I’m being mean. Is anyone else super nasty-mean when they are pregnant? I can’t say I like feeling so angry all the time (I’ve been neglecting to take my Zoloft). But it’s nice to have an “excuse” to be soooooo bitchy all the time. Ha!
But – once I finally get to see an OB I will be a little less stressed (about that at least) and will have more to bore the hell out of my readers with. This blog has always had a severe case of A.D.D – let’s just call a spade a spade here.
Um. Alright – I’ve overused tooltips and confused myself. Back to watching Ghost Hunters.
This won’t be a long post since I am writing it on my iPhone’s WordPress app – but – I heard this morning about the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Chile … Pair that with the recent almost 8 that hit Haiti and it makes me wonder if this is some natural “end time.”
It’s a little unnerving. Won’t make me claim Christianity anytime soon though.
So what do you think?
What was your best day of the week last week and why?
The best day from last week was Saturday! Not only had my hubby come home after a long business trip – we also took our son over a friends’ house where we all had a karaoke party! We had a great time with our friends and their kids. The little ones had a good time singing (whether with the lyrics or just on their own) and the adults had a good time being silly. I think it was a nice stress relief and I look forward to our next party!
What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without sleep?
The longest I’ve ever gone without sleep was when I was a teenager and spent the night over a friends’ house. We had taken a couple caffeine pills each and stayed up for roughly 2 1/2 days straight. I certainly can’t do THAT anymore! More recently I’ve only stayed up probably 24 hours straight – I’m not good at “awake” anymore.
Is how old you look and/or how old you feel right now different from your actual age?
I’ve always felt younger than I am (which is 29). I have been told I look younger also – but that’s beginning to fade a little unfortunately! I like to be silly and goofy and don’t plan on giving that up any time soon. I also like wearing crazy socks, pink and skull-related clothes. That’s a “young” thing that I don’t want to give up either!
The holidays are officially over in my house! The decorations are down – including the tree – and I couldn’t be happier about it. It was hard getting into the ‘Christmas Spirit’ this year since my hubby is away on a business trip. I put on a happy face for Xander – but I really wasn’t interested in it all.
So now it’s time to get ready to ring in 2010 which I am all for. 2009 can kiss my ass as far as I’m concerned – it’s been a really ROUGH year!
My new year’s plans include:
- Lose weight (purchasing a gym membership along with Jillian Michael’s The 30-Day Shred dvd)
- Get organized (begin with desk/office area)
- Learn affiliate marketing (for fun and profit, lol)
- Launch affiliate website and actually make $$ with it (residual income!)
- Maintain kick-ass GPA at school
- Graduate with Bachelor’s degree
- Score kick-ass job with web development firm
Nice right? Reaching for the stars baby … I’m sure I will come up with some more.
I’m sitting here finishing up burning a cd for a friend that I will see tomorrow. The buzzing is making me sleepy. Well it is either the buzzing noise or the Ambien I took over an hour ago. I took it – then realized that it’s Ghost Hunters night and made sure the DVR was set just in case I
fall asleep pass out. Then, Alan calls (he’s outta town) to chat and remind me when to pick him up at the airport. Thanks hunny! My phone then perishes from lack of battery life. Bah .. sent Alan a message on GChat telling him about the phone.
I can’t keep my eyes open anymore peeps … My peeps just aren’t peepin’ anymore! (that was an ode to my New Yawk Sistah)
Ps. My dog just fell UP the stairs. Is that even possible? Or do you think he got into my mind-inducing drug collection? Samson those are MY prescriptions! Get your OWN ZOLOFT!
Well, if anyone needs ‘Z’ it’s my poor emo doggy Samson.
Weird and ironic things always happen to me. I can think about calling my mom or hubby and the phone will ring, or I can think of someone that I haven’t talked to in awhile and the next day they will contact me. Yesterday there was a super weird thing that happened to me …
I was asked to review a book called “The Skinny: Adventures Of America’s First Bulimic” written by Rayni Joan and just couldn’t find the time to read it until about a week ago. Yesterday I got a call from my career counselor at school and I have an interview for an internship at the Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment here in Virginia Beach (my interview is the 14th so cross your fingers!) The SAME DAY the book starts talking about one of the characters being interested in the studies of Edgar Cayce and goes into some of the things they believe.
I’d never HEARD of Edgar Cayce before yesterday. Yet I have two completely different instances of hearing about him that day. What made that happen? What made me wait to read the book until the very day the section about Edgar Cayce could match up to the job interview? See? WEIRD!
Now that I’ve done a little research I am so ridiculously excited about my interview though … this is right up my alley. But seriously – does this weird stuff happen to anyone else?
